The two projections differ in size and each has its own sound. In Sequence footage, taken in public washing place in Mumbay, India, is juxtaposed with images taken of The White Shroud, an installation of hundreds of white garments of children, exhibited at the Sonsbeek 2008: Grandeur exhibition in Arnhem, The Netherlands.
This work tries to roam at the question of the upon the transient and the everlasting, on repetition and rituals, on the daily activities and the transcendental. Cleansing and washing are deeply imbedded in many cultures and religions.
