Concealment is a series of video stills of Motet. In the stop-motion film Motet, the relationship and confusion between perpetrator and victim are being questioned. This duality arises when interpreting the press photo of the moment just after Michelangelo's Pietà was attacked in 1972, which serves as the starting point for Motet.

Concealment shows moments in the film when the press photo is covered or hidden with different materials such as white flour and textile trimmed with bobbin lace.

This work is part of the overarching investigation entitled Pietà, A Reconsideration of the Gesture.
